Our Content Accuracy Framework

Zero tolerance for approximation. Every technical claim on ECalPro references a specific standard clause.

Content Accuracy Principles

1

Standard Clause Citation

No formula appears without its source clause. Every calculation output references the exact table, column, and row from the governing standard.

2

Worked Example Traceability

Every worked example can be reproduced by hand from the referenced standard tables. Inputs, intermediate steps, and final results are fully transparent.

3

Multi-Standard Awareness

Where standards disagree (NEC 3% vs IEC 5% voltage drop limits), we present both without favouring either. Engineers choose the applicable standard.

4

Version Currency

Content specifies exact standard edition year. We write 'BS 7671:2018+A2:2022', never just 'BS 7671'. Edition matters for compliance.

5

Field Validation

Abstract calculations are verified against physical installations. Theory meets reality through 18+ years of field engineering experience.

How We Handle Standard Updates

When a standard publishes an amendment or new edition, we follow a structured update process to ensure all calculators, content, and tests reflect the latest requirements.
