Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ECalPro ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us"), a cloud-based SaaS platform for professional electrical engineering calculations operated by a sole trader based in Indonesia. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ECalPro provides electrical engineering calculation tools including cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, short circuit calculations, maximum demand assessment, motor and transformer calculations, protection coordination, and arc flash analysis. The Platform supports multiple international wiring standards including AS/NZS 3008, BS 7671, IEC 60364, NEC/NFPA 70, and IEEE 1584.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

ECalPro offers the following tiers:

• Free — All calculators with limited daily usage, watermarked reports, and up to 3 projects.
• Professional — Unlimited calculations, branded PDF/Excel/Word reports, all standards, API access.
• Team — Everything in Professional plus shared projects, team management, SSO integration, and a dedicated account manager.

Pricing is published on our website and may change with 30 days' notice. Annual plans receive a discount as displayed at the time of purchase.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax collection, invoicing, and billing on our behalf. When you purchase a subscription, you are entering into a transaction with Paddle, and their terms of service apply to the payment transaction. We do not store your credit card or payment details.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ECalPro solely for lawful purposes related to electrical engineering calculations and professional reference. You shall not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorised third-party access.
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair it.
• Redistribute calculation results or reports as a competing service.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, algorithms, standard reference tables, and documentation of ECalPro are the intellectual property of ECalPro and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of your project data, calculation inputs, and generated reports. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Your account data (projects, calculations, reports) is retained while your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon account deletion, all personal data and project data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a notice on the Platform before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 8, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
