Frequently Asked Questions

Use FLC = P / (V x PF x efficiency x sqrt(3)) for 3-phase motors. This card provides typical FLC values per IEC 60034 and NEC Table 430.250 for quick reference when nameplate data is unavailable.
NEC Table 430.250 uses conservative values based on average US motor designs. IEC 60034 values are based on standard efficiency classes (IE2/IE3). Always use nameplate data when available.
Quick field reference for motor full load current when sizing cables, selecting protective devices, or verifying circuit breaker ratings. Print and keep in your toolbox.
